Youth Serving in Worship
Acolytes/Crucifers/
Bible Carriers
Youth in grades 6-12 are eligible to serve. 6th-9th graders serve as Acolytes, processing in with the torches and light the altar candles; 10th-12th graders lead the processional carrying the cross into the Sanctuary. Contact: Katerine Willis at kwillis@mpumc.org
Love Feast
Held just before Christmas each year, this tradition includes Love Feast buns, spiced tea handmade beeswax candles and beautiful Christmas music by our Youth Choir. High School youth are asked to serve the tea and buns, and to help hand out the candles. Middle School youth are asked to help greet attendees and set up luminaries.
Usher/Lay Reader Church in the Round
Volunteer to be an usher or read scripture during Church in the Round during one of the Sunday services. Contact Peg Broughton to sign up at Peg@mpumc.org
