About Service Hours
Service hours are an important part of our preparation for participation in summer missions. Through service in our community, our hearts amd minds get ready to go for the summer. Our service also reminds us that the need to serve is right here in Charlotte, too.
Service hours may be earned in many ways, however here are a few simple rules to follow:
1) You can't be paid for what you do.
2) You can't get service hours for working around the house.
3) You can't earn more than half of your required hours in any one thing.
To earn credit for your hours it is necessary for you to complete a Service Hours Record form and return it to the Youth Ministry Office. Hours are updated monthly and posted in the Youth Ministry hallway.
